Winding down 7x on 1 September 2026
After careful consideration, we have decided to close the public 7x service (7x.ax). 7x will be discontinued on 1 September 2026.
Why we are making this change
Our focus is shifting toward two initiatives we believe will deliver the most value going forward:
- Bahriya (bahriya.cloud) — where we are concentrating our platform investment.
- BKE, the Bahriya Kubernetes Engine — which we will be continuing to build out and expand.
Consolidating our efforts lets us do a smaller number of things exceptionally well, rather than spreading ourselves across too many services.
What this means for you
The public 7x service will remain fully operational until 1 September 2026. After that date, it will no longer be available. We encourage you to plan any necessary migrations ahead of that deadline.
Existing subscriptions will be cancelled before the end of August 2026, ahead of the service closing. You will not be billed beyond that point.
For enterprise customers
If you use one of our enterprise products that depends on 7x — such as Kipchak’s Subashi Pro Middleware — there is nothing you need to do right now. Over the coming weeks, we will be rolling out updates that decouple these products from 7x while fully preserving their existing functionality. Your services will continue to work as expected.
