Mamluk launches fully managed on-premise Kubernetes for regulated GCC organisations
SHARJAH, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — 20 May 2025 — Mamluk LLC today announced the general availability of a fully managed on-premise Kubernetes service for regulated organisations across the Gulf Cooperation Council, operated end-to-end by GCC-resident engineers on the Bahriya Kubernetes Engine.
The service is aimed at banks, government entities and healthcare providers that are required to keep data and control within national borders, but that lack the platform engineering depth to operate Kubernetes at a production standard.
“Sovereignty should not mean running critical infrastructure on a best effort basis,” said Meezaan-ud-Din, Founder of Mamluk. “We run this exact platform ourselves. Now regulated organisations can have it inside their own data centre, operated by engineers who are in the same time zone and under the same jurisdiction.”
Unlike offerings that rely on remote support desks abroad, every engineer who operates a Mamluk cluster is resident in the GCC. The service covers installation, upgrades, backup, monitoring and incident response under a single flat licence.
